A trip to Banos, a relatively small town in the picturesque Andean highlands, ensures plenty of chances for outdoor activities like horseback riding, hiking, climbing, canyoning, and mountain biking.
Kick off your visit on the 19th (Tue): scramble along the landscape with a canyoning and rapelling tour and then admire the sheer force of Pailon del Diablo (Devil's Cauldron). Keep things going the next day: get impressive views of Tungurahua and then explore the landscape on two wheels at Ruta de las cascadas.
