  • It is an activity that has its economic value but totally worth it. I did a long line to enter, maybe taking time is best because there is always a row. Big famous works are, and a lot of history to see each work and sculpture. If you like art and painting does not let go.

  • A very well curated collection, a spacious and very pleasant environment. Not quite as mind-blowing as the Pitti Palace but a varied group of important works. A good three hours, nice little cafe to r...  more »
  • A lot to see the price is nothing inviting (€24). Worth it but for those who really appreciate art.

  • If you have a Firenze card, this is free and it cuts the wait time down with a faster line. The Uffizi Gallery is one of the most popular attractions in Florence, and it had the longest line. This museum houses some amazing works, but I think it can be what you make of it. We had an audio guide, which I think was important in helping to better enjoy the visit. I really enjoyed seeing the birth of Venus as well as other artists depictions of Venus. I think one of my favorite works were the personification of the virtues. Seven women, each portraying a different virtue. I found them fascinating and lovely. Go to this museum and get an audio guide or a tour guide. It really helps to teach you more and make you appreciate the past.
  • The Uffizi Gallery was beautiful and the works of art are definitely worth seeing. The best option is to take a tour though, that way you can get the most of it! There is so much artwork in there that without a guide most people (Like myself) would have no idea what they're looking at! Learning about the work itself and it's creator is just as incredible as actually seeing the piece.
  • Awesome, inspiring, much awaited, lived up to my expectations. The old masters are really experts in their art. Every artwork came alive with such lifelike depictions mainly of Biblical events. Very meaningful. Just be prepared for lots of waiting (to go in even with reserved tickets) and walking. About 2pm is a good time to pick up reserved tickets. Most have probably gone for lunch. Spend at least 2 hours to really enjoy about 70% of the exhibits. Bring water. You'll need it.
  • Best place for painting lovers. Enjoy painting not photography. Saw most of people taking pictures madly than doing what they are supposed to do in painting museum. "Turn on your mind not your camera". Pictures you will find online..
  • Take the fast ticket if you can. We spent more than 5 hours exploring the breathtaking art pieces. Beautiful scenery from the windows. Recommend reading about the history of the Uffizi. Makes it even more valuable
